Qualifications

• Graduate degree in nurse anesthesia per accrediting body.

Responsibilities

• Assist with reviewing patient data and history before anesthesia.
• Maintain patient safety and respond to emergencies during procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications and fluids following safe practice standards.
• Monitor airway, anesthesia depth, fluids, and physiologic responses throughout anesthesia.
• Complete required documentation: surgical safety checklist, pre-op assessment, intra-op record, transfer-of-care note.
• Log incidents in the Safety Portal.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education

Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor
