Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor.

Responsibilities

• Assist with collecting, reviewing, and evaluating data pertinent to the patient’s medical history and planned procedure.
• Maintain a safe environment and respond to emergencies and safety hazards.
• Prepare and administer medications and fluids per safe practice standards.
• Support ongoing airway, anesthesia depth, fluid status, and physiologic response monitoring to ensure patient safety.
• Complete surgical safety checklist, pre-operative assessment, intra-operative anesthetic record, and transfer-of-care note.
• Log incident reporting in the computerized Safety Portal.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
