Job summary

Management Performance Associates in East Chicago, IN seeks a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join a dedicated anesthesia team. This full-time, permanent role offers competitive hourly pay and a framework that supports work-life balance within a HIMSS Stage VII facility.

Responsibilities include pre-anesthetic assessments, anesthesia planning, airway management, and post-anesthesia care across multiple ORs, with evening, weekend, and holiday on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia education program.
• Current state RN license.
• APN prescriber license required.
• Board Certified or eligible by NBCRNA must be met.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-anesthetic assessments and evaluations.
• Develop anesthesia care plans based on patient needs.
• Administer anesthesia, adjuvants, and fluids.
• Manage airway and ventilation during anesthesia.
• Facilitate emergence and recovery from anesthesia.
• Provide post-anesthesia follow-up and evaluation.
• Support multiple ORs and non-OR areas with rotations.
• Participate in on-call rotations and departmental meetings.
• Adhere to safety and infection control standards.
