Job summary

Duke Health is seeking a qualified CRNA for full-time anesthesia services at Duke Regional Hospital in Durham, NC. Administer anesthetics for surgical procedures and supervise students as needed.

Incentives include a $60,000 commitment bonus for new grads and experienced CRNAs, $15,000 annual stipend for 1.0 FTE, $2,500 CME allowance, and an $8,000 relocation budget; relocation eligibility within NC.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited MSN, DNP or DNAP CRNA program.
• CRNA certification and eligibility for certification by the AANA.
• Current RN licensure with approval to practice as a CRNA.
• New grads welcome; no experience required beyond CRNA education and training.

Responsibilities

• Administer general anesthetics for surgical procedures; monitor vital signs during procedures.
• Prepare drugs, supplies and equipment for anesthesia; ensure proper functioning of gas machines.
• Disassemble and clean equipment; maintain records of anesthetics administered.
• Supervise student nurse anesthetists and instruct residents and allied health students.
• Perform other duties related to the described work.
