Job summary

Duke Regional Hospital in Durham, NC is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for full-time, on-site coverage in the dedicated OB/anesthesia service. New grads are welcome to apply; current RN licensure and CRNA certification are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited MSN, DNP or DNAP CNRA program.
• Certification as a CRNA; eligibility for AANA certification for new grads.
• Current RN licensure valid with approval to practice as a CRNA.

Responsibilities

• Administer anesthetics for surgical, obstetrical and other procedures.
• Monitor vital signs and respond to intraoperative changes.
• Prepare drugs, supplies, and equipment for anesthesia care.
• Supervise student nurse anesthetists and teach residents.
• Maintain anesthesia records and ensure equipment readiness.
