Job summary

UAB Medicine is seeking a Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests. You will participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.

Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program and hold CRNA/APN credentials with ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications to join Alabama's leading health system.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program.
• Certified as an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) with CRNA specialty by the Alabama Board of Nursing.
• ACLS certification required by AHA.
• BLS certification required by AHA.
• PALS certification required by AHA.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests.
