Job summary

UAB Medicine in Alabama seeks a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to provide anesthesia under physician direction for diverse surgical and diagnostic procedures, including cardio-thoracic cases. You will participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.

Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program is required; ARNP with CRNA specialty by the Alabama Board of Nursing, ACLS, BLS and PALS are mandatory credentials.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program required.
• APN with CRNA Specialty by the Alabama Board of Nursing required.
• ACLS, BLS and PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests.
• Participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.
