Job summary

Advocate Health's AMG Christ - Anesthesiology department seeks a part-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide full anesthesia services under the surgeon team, including general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care.

The schedule includes Monday–Friday first shift options with 8, 10, or 12 hour shifts, no weekend, holiday or on-call requirements; minimum 2 shifts per month for PRN status. Requires Master’s in Nursing and NBCRNA certification with active license.

Qualifications

• Active RN and APRN license in state of practice with NBCRNA board certification.
• Active DEA registration prior to hire.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP required per site/role.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care including induction, maintenance, and emergence.
• Prepare equipment and medications and ensure readiness.
• Monitor patient status and respond to complications.
• Post-anesthesia care and safe transfer of care.
• Participate in preoperative evaluation and documentation in EMR.
