Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA) for the AMG Lutheran General - Anesthesiology department in Illinois. This full-time role supports a surgical team with comprehensive anesthesia services and post-anesthesia care.

The successful candidate will perform general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care, participate in preoperative evaluations, and ensure equipment readiness. 8- or 10-hour shifts, Monday–Friday, with no weekends or call.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing and active APRN licensure as required.
• CRNA certification and state licensure.
• Ability to work independently within a surgical team.

Responsibilities

• Provide full anesthesia care (general, regional, MAC) per plan.
• Conduct preoperative evaluation and obtain informed consent.
• Ensure readiness of equipment and medications for anesthesia.
• Monitor and manage anesthesia and post-anesthesia recovery.
• Perform post-anesthetic visits and facilitate safe transfers.
