Job summary

MNGI Digestive Health is seeking a CRNA to provide high-quality anesthesia care in Ambulatory Surgery Centers across the Twin Cities metro. The role emphasizes patient safety, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and autonomous practice within organizational guidelines.

You will assess patients pre- and post-procedure, administer anesthesia, monitor intraoperative responses, and contribute to recovery and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor.
• Current Minnesota RN and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) licensure.
• Current NBCRNA certification.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Meets MNGI Digestive Health's credentialing, privileging, and professional liability insurance requirements.
• Demonstrates competency in nurse anesthesia clinical practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality patient care for individuals receiving monitored anesthesia care in the Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs).
• Assess, prepare, and monitor patients before, during, and after procedures requiring monitored anesthesia care.
• Administer anesthesia services in accordance with clinical standards, regulatory requirements, and established protocols.
• Monitor patient responses during procedures and intervene appropriately to support patient safety and positive outcomes.
• Collaborate with Anesthesiologists, Proceduralists, nursing staff, and other healthcare team members to deliver coordinated patient care.
• Independently manage anesthesia care within the scope of CRNA practice and organizational guidelines.
• Support patient recovery and evaluate readiness for discharge following procedures.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation related to anesthesia care and patient outcomes.
• Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and clinical practice initiatives as assigned.
• Perform additional clinical and non-clinical duties and departmental responsibilities as needed.
