Job summary

International SOS Government Medical Services seeks a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist for Iraq. The CRNA will plan and provide anesthesia, monitor patients intraoperatively, and ensure safe recovery, collaborating with surgeons and the care team in a demanding environment.

Qualified candidates hold NBCRNA BE/BC and a Master’s in Nurse Anesthesia, with BLS/ACLS; ATLS preferred, and US citizenship or equivalent security eligibility. Relocation to Iraq is required for the project.

Qualifications

• Current, full, active, and unrestricted CRNA license in any US state or DC.
• NBCRNA BE/BC certification required.
• BLS and ACLS required; ATLS preferred.
• 3+ years as CRNA, including 18 months within the last year.

Responsibilities

• Perform preoperative evaluations and anesthesia planning.
• Administer general, regional, and local anesthesia.
• Monitor vital signs and airway management intraoperatively.
• Provide post-an anesthesia care and manage complications.
• Collaborate with surgical team and ensure Joint Commission compliance.
