Job summary

International SOS Government Medical Services seeks an experienced ICU nurse to provide specialized critical care for life‑threatening conditions for government personnel stationed abroad. You will assess patients, monitor equipment, and collaborate with physicians to deliver evidence‑based care in a high‑stakes environment.

Role requires 3+ years in ICU, current RN license, and BLS/ACLS. Assignment includes international relocation and working in Baghdad, Iraq with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program with an Associate, Bachelor, Master of Science in Nursing, or Doctor of Nursing Practice degree.
• 3+ years of ICU or critical care experience, including 6 months of direct patient care within the last year.
• Current, full, active RN license in the U.S.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and provide comprehensive nursing care for critically ill patients and respond to changes in condition.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and other treatments per physician orders.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to implement care plans.
