Job summary

International SOS Government Medical Services seeks a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide anesthesia care for surgical patients on a government project. The CRNA will administer general, regional, and local anesthesia, monitor patient vitals, manage airways, and participate in post-anesthesia recovery.

Collaboration with the surgical team is essential for safe outcomes. The position requires a Master’s in Nurse Anesthesia, active US CRNA license, NBCRNA certification,

Qualifications

• Active CRNA license in US (any state)
• NBCRNA BE/BC required
• BLS and ACLS required; ATLS preferred
• Minimum 3+ years CRNA experience, including 18 months in last year
• Military site experience with government contracts preferred
• US Citizen or Permanent Resident; valid US passport
• Ability to relocate to Iraq for duration of project
• Proficient reading/writing/speaking English

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive preoperative evaluations and assess anesthesia risks
• Develop and implement anesthesia care plans
• Administer general, regional, and local anesthesia
• Monitor vital signs and anesthesia depth during procedures
• Manage airway and respiratory support
• Provide post-anesthesia recovery care
• Collaborate with surgical team for patient care planning
• Maintain and clean anesthesia equipment
• Complete compliance education for Joint Commission or client standards
• Relocate to Iraq and work on a government project
