Job Description: Weber State University’s Annie Taylor Dee School of Nursing is excited to announce an opening for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthesiologist (CRNA) faculty member with an appointment as Assistant Program Director. This 12‑month position can be filled as either a tenure‑track position or an instructor position with the option to move to a tenure‑track position at a later date, depending on the candidate’s qualifications. The candidate will initially be hired as a faculty member with an administrative appointment; the role may rotate through the faculty within the department in the future.
This appointment has primary responsibilities in teaching, student evaluation, and ongoing curriculum development within the nurse anesthesia program. The individual maintains an active teaching role, contributing to didactic, simulation, and/or clinical education. In addition to faculty responsibilities, the Assistant Program Director supports the Program Director in select administrative functions, including curriculum oversight, student recruitment, retention, and progression, while ensuring alignment with accreditation standards established by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs.
This position collaborates closely with the Department of Nursing Graduate Studies Chair, WSU colleagues, and the School of Nursing administrative team.
