Job summary

Weber State University’s Annie Taylor Dee School of Nursing seeks a CRNA faculty member with an appointment as Assistant Program Director. The 12‑month position may be tenure‑track or instructor level with potential for later tenure‑track progression, initially housing an administrative appointment.

The role emphasizes teaching, student evaluation, and curriculum development, with opportunities to contribute to didactic, simulation, and clinical education while supporting accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• Doctoral Degree from an accredited CRNA nursing program.
• Minimum of two years of related CRNA experience.
• Active Utah APRN license or eligibility for licensure in Utah.
• Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, videoconferencing, and general database navigation.
• Current CRNA clinical practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide didactic and clinical instruction within the program.
• Contribute to curriculum evaluation and program assessment reports.
• Participate in faculty evaluations and strengthen clinical partnerships.
• Oversee student clinical rotations and ensure graduation requirements.
• Liaise with clinical agencies and the university to maintain partnerships.
• Oversee clinical site evaluations and maintain site records.
• Coordinate monthly case record review and data tracking.
• Identify and coordinate remediation for at‑risk students.
• Assist in accreditation compliance and regulatory reporting.
• Engage in strategic planning and governance within the program.
