Job summary

Allegheny Health Network seeks a CRNA to provide anesthetic care in the surgical setting. The role includes planning and evaluating anesthesia care, documenting medical records, and closely monitoring patients under anesthesia.

The candidate must hold PA RN licensure (or multi-state eNLC) and a CRNA certification, with preferred prior CRNA experience. Compliance with HIPAA, FBI/Background clearances, PALS/ACLS as required is essential.

Qualifications

• Current State Board of Nursing PA RN licensure or multi-state eNLC license.
• Certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
• Preferred prior CRNA experience.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, evaluates, and implements anesthetic management for all anesthesia patients.
• Provides accurate medical record documentation.
• Monitors patients under anesthesia and consults with attending physician on care plans as needed.
• Contributes to performance/quality improvement initiatives.
• Adheres to nursing legal/ethical standards and AANA guidelines.
• Follows safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Serves as a clinical resource and may mentor staff or students.
