Job summary

Highmark Health's Allegheny Health Network is seeking a CRNA to provide anesthetic care in the surgical setting. The role includes planning, implementing and monitoring anesthesia, documenting care, and collaborating with physicians and the interdisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate holds PA RN licensure (or multi-state eNLC), CRNA certification, and preferred PALS/ACLS. Strong documentation and patient safety are essential.

Qualifications

• Current PA RN license or equivalent eNLC required.
• Certification as CRNA by NBCRNA required.
• PALS and ACLS certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, evaluates, and implements anesthetic management for all anesthesia patients.
• Maintains accurate medical record documentation.
• Monitors patients under anesthesia and communicates plan to attending physician when needed.
• Participates in performance or quality improvement initiatives.
• Follows legal and ethical standards and safety regulations.
• Acts as a clinical resource to the health care team and mentors staff or students.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
