Qualifications

  • Must hold PA RN licensure or eNLC license.
  • Certification as a CRNA by NBCRNA.
  • Preferred prior CRNA anesthesia experience.
  • CPR, BLS, ACLS, PALS as required.

Responsibilities

  • Assesses, plans, evaluates, and implements the anesthetic management for all patients presenting for anesthesia care.
  • Provides accurate medical record documentation.
  • Provides continuous observation of patients under anesthetic care and corrects abnormal patient responses.
  • Attends physician regarding plan of care and involves physician in decisions outside scope.
  • Participates in performance and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Adheres to legal/ethical standards and safety/regulatory requirements.
  • Acts as a clinical resource to the interdisciplinary health care team and mentors staff.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education

PA RN licensure required (eNLC acceptable)
CRNA certification (NBCRNA)
Prior CRNA experience preferred
CPR/BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications
