Job summary

Avera St Luke's Hospital in Aberdeen, SD seeks a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to provide comprehensive anesthesia care across procedures, from pre-operative assessment to emergence. Qualifications

• Active licenses in practice state required at hire and on departure.
• CRNA and RN credentials with NBCRNA certification on hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs pre-operative patient assessment.
• Determines plan of care and communicates it to patient and family.
• Establishes and maintains airway and venous access.
• Induces and maintains anesthesia and monitors patient.
• Completes anesthesia and emergence and transfers care after procedure.
• Performs post-operative follow-up for each case.
• Act as a clinical instructor for anesthesia students.
