Ochsner Health in Bay St. Louis, MS is seeking a skilled Nurse Anesthetist to administer anesthesia during surgical and obstetric procedures under physician supervision. You will join a collaborative team and participate in department quality initiatives.

The position requires a Master's degree in nurse anesthesia, an APRN license in Mississippi, and AANA/BLS certifications. You must be able to work a flexible schedule, including on-call shifts, to ensure patient safety and high-quality care.

Formación

• Master's degree in nurse anesthesia from an AANA-accredited program.
• Current APRN license in Mississippi.
• Active AANA certification and BCLS certification.
• Proficient with data entry and electronic health records.
• Ability to work flexible schedule incl. nights/weekends on call.

Responsabilidades

• Document procedures and patient incidents.
• Assess patients before, during, and after anesthesia.
• Ensure patient safety and administer anesthesia per standards.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and staff.
• Participate in quality assurance and professional development.
• Adapt care to diverse patient populations.
• Perform other related duties as required.
