Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Documents patient procedures and incidents.
• Assesses patient before, during, and after administering anesthesia.
• Ensures patient safety and administers anesthesia following accepted practice techniques.
• Acts as a liaison to surgeons, anesthesiologists, co-workers, patients, and families.
• Participates in department quality assurance initiatives and professional development activities.
• Adapts communication and approach to the patient population and context.
