Job summary

The UAB Division of Community Anesthesia seeks a competent CRNA to administer anesthesia under the supervision of an anesthesiologist for a broad range of procedures. You will contribute to student education and practice within a busy academic/community setting near downtown Birmingham.

This position offers a sign-on bonus up to $45,000 and features no on-call, weekend, or holiday shift requirements with an option to pick up extra shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program required.
• Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
• Currently certified as a CRNA with Alabama Board of Nursing specialty.

Responsibilities

• Provides anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests.
• Participates in the clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.
