Job summary

UAB Medicine in Alabama is seeking a certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join the Division of Community Anesthesia. You will provide anesthesia under supervision for diverse surgical procedures and help train nurse anesthesia students. The team includes 15 anesthesiologists and 70+ CRNAs, with a wide range of surgical cases and no on-call requirements.

A sign-on bonus up to $45,000 is available for new hires at UAB St. Vincent’s Birmingham. Earn-to-learn stipends may apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program required.
• Licenses / Certifications / Registrations: Alabama Board of Nursing CRNA certification, ACLS, BLS, PALS.

Responsibilities

• Provides anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests.
• Participates in the clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.
