Job summary

DeKalb Health in Little Rock, AR is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to practice autonomously and in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. You will deliver anesthesia services across varied procedures with emphasis on safety, effectiveness, and patient-centered care.

The CRNA will assess, plan, administer anesthesia, and manage airway, analgesia, and recovery in diverse clinical settings, contributing to interprofessional care and ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or Doctorate in Nurse Anesthesia required by date of hire.
• Current Arkansas RN and APRN licensure in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
• Certified by NBCRNA by date of hire.
• BLS and ACLS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and obtain informed consent.
• Develop and implement anesthesia care plans.
• Administer preanesthetic medications and analgesics.
• Manage airway and ventilation during anesthesia.
• Provide post-anesthesia care and monitor recovery.
• Participate in patient safety initiatives and quality assurance.
