Job summary

OrthoArkansas is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a PRN role in Little Rock, AR. The CRNA will independently administer anesthesia, monitor patient response, and collaborate with surgeons to ensure safe, high‑quality perioperative care.

Key duties include pre-anesthesia assessment, anesthesia administration, intraoperative management, post-anesthesia care, and ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in anesthesia care.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program.
• Minimum of 5 years of anesthesia-related experience.
• Active RN licensure in Arkansas and CRNA certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and review medical history and risk factors.
• Deliver general, regional, or MAC anesthesia with appropriate medications.
• Monitor vitals and anesthesia depth; manage airway and ventilation.
• Insert and maintain IVs/arterial lines and support blood loss management.
• Oversee emergence from anesthesia and provide pain management.
• Maintain licensure, participate in continuing education, and uphold standards.
