Job summary

Sioux Center Health is looking for a Certified Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide care across various surgical procedures. The role entails pre-operative assessments, anesthetic management, and post-operative follow-ups.

Applicants must possess active licenses as a CRNA and RN in South Dakota. Extensive benefits including PTO from day one and retirement contributions are provided.

Weekend Call

Requirements: One weekend every 6 (1.6)

Weekday Call : Approx. 1 per week

Post call day off

Incentive to work post call if needed

Response time: 20 minutes

CME: $3,500 annually

The weekday shifts are 0630 to 1500

A Brief Overview

Cares for patients at all acuity levels across the lifespan in a variety of settings for procedures including, but not limited to, surgical, obstetrical, diagnostic, therapeutic, and pain management.

What You Will Do

• Performs a pre-operative patient assessment.
• Determines a plan of care and communicating the plan of care to patient and family.
• Establishes and maintains essential venous access.
• Ensures establishment and maintenance of airway.
• Responsible for inducting, maintaining the anesthesia, and proper monitoring.
• Responsible for completing the anesthesia and the emergence from anesthesia.
• Transfers care to appropriate staff at termination of procedure.
• Performs post-operative follow-up for each case performed.
• Perform as a clinical instructor for anesthesia students.
