Job summary

Prisma Health Richland Anesthesiology is seeking a CRNA to deliver comprehensive anesthesia care across preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative phases under medical direction. You will administer anesthesia for diverse procedures and participate in airway management and perioperative coordination.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in Nurse Anesthesia with a CRNA credential and SC RN-Advanced Practice licensure.

Responsibilities

• Formulates anesthetic plan with anesthesiologist and discusses risks with patient.
• Performs line placement procedures (IV/arterial) per guidelines.
• Documents pre-anesthesia assessment and intraoperative care thoroughly.
• Maintains age-specific anesthesia skills, including airway management, induction, blocks, and general anesthesia.
• Keeps up-to-date knowledge of anesthesia pharmacology, modalities, and technology.
• Ensures a safe practice environment to minimize infection, injury, and equipment risk.
• Performs point-of-care testing as required by policy and regulation.
