Job summary

UAB Medicine seeks a CRNA to provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for a broad range of surgical procedures and diagnostic tests, including cardio-thoracic surgery and cardiac catheterizations.

The role includes participation in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students. Must be a graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program with CRNA specialty, and hold ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications as required by the Alabama Board of Nursing.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program.
• APN with CRNA Specialty certification by the Alabama Board of Nursing.
• ACLS certification is required.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• PALS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
