Job summary

UAB Medicine in Alabama seeks a CRNA to provide anesthesia under an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and cardio-thoracic cases. This full-time role includes participation in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students and offers a generous benefits package.

Pay range is $185,000–$248,986 per year with a $45,000 new hire sign-on bonus where applicable. ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications and Alabama APN/CRNA credentials are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program.
• Current APN with CRNA Specialty by the Alabama Board of Nursing.
• Current ACLS, BLS and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests, including cardio-thoracic procedures and cardiac catheterizations.
• Participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.
