Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with external partners on project activities, timeline, dependencies to deliver projects.
  • Design and deliver end-to-end supply chain solutions including fulfillment, inventory management, order orchestration and logistics execution.
  • Lead technical analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment activities across multiple initiatives.
  • Support transformation programs and operational enhancements across NA and global markets.

Location: Boston, MA

Duration: 8 months contract

Overview

Converse is seeking a highly experienced Senior Supply Chain Technology Consultant to support strategic supply chain transformation initiatives and critical operational platforms. This role will focus on the design, development, integration, and support of solutions across Order Management, Warehouse Management, ERP, Fulfillment, and Logistics ecosystems.

The ideal candidate combines strong Java engineering skills with deep expertise in Supply Chain operations, OMS, WMS, ERP integrations, and program delivery, and is comfortable partnering with both technical and business stakeholders

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business, operations, and digital teams to translate requirements into scalable technology solutions.
  • Collaborate with external partners on project activities, timeline, dependencies to deliver projects
  • Design and deliver solutions supporting end-to-end supply chain operations, including fulfillment, inventory management, order orchestration, and logistics execution.
  • Lead technical analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment activities across multiple business initiatives.
  • Support strategic transformation programs and operational enhancements across North America and global markets.
OMS, WMS & ERP Expertise
  • Provide technical leadership across:
  • Homegrown AI-Native OMS platform
  • Manhattan WMS
  • SAP AFS / ERP
  • Amazon MCF (Multi-Channel Fulfillment)
  • Supply Chain integrations and automation
  • Analyze and optimize order lifecycle, inventory flows, warehouse operations, and fulfillment processes.
  • Design scalable solutions supporting omnichannel order routing and inventory visibility.
What You Bring
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of software engineering and enterprise solution delivery experience.
  • Strong program management and project delivery skills.
  • Strong hands-on Java development expertise.
  • Deep knowledge of Supply chain processes:
  • Order Management Systems (OMS)
  • Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Fulfillment and Logistics Processes
  • Experience with:
  • APIs and Microservices
  • Event-Driven Architectures
  • Integration Platforms
  • Data Mapping and Transformation
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Experience working directly with business, operations teams, and external partners.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • SAP AFS
  • Manhattan WMS
  • AI-enabled or AI-native OMS platforms
  • Amazon MCF integrations
  • Retail, Footwear, Apparel, or Consumer Products industry experience.
  • Experience supporting large-scale supply chain transformation initiatives.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, modern integration frameworks, and automation technologies.
Application Development & Integration
  • Develop and maintain enterprise applications using Java and modern integration frameworks.
  • Design APIs, event-driven integrations, and real-time data flows across OMS, WMS, ERP, Amazon, and external partner ecosystems.
  • Drive integration architecture, data mapping, and system interoperability.
  • Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, resilient, and aligned with enterprise standards.
Program Leadership & Stakeholder Management
  • Lead technical workstreams and coordinate activities across business, engineering, vendors, and external partners.
  • Facilitate requirements workshops, design reviews, testing activities, and deployment planning.
  • Communicate status, risks, dependencies, and recommendations to leadership teams.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment and execution in a fast-paced delivery environment.
