Motion Industries is offering a Customer Software Development Intern position to join project teams over the summer. You will gain hands-on experience by contributing to CRM features and collaborating with architects and project managers to deploy solutions.

The role emphasizes learning full software development lifecycle, strong communication, and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment within a leading industrial distributor.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS or BA in a computer-related field.
• Working knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
• Experience with software development methodologies.
• Knowledge of Java, MS Dynamics CRM and/or .Net is a plus.
• Understanding of full lifecycle development and strong teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Participate in status meetings and provide status to Project Managers.
• Work with Architects to develop, test and deploy new features for the CRM platform.
• Design, develop and test solutions between disparate systems; troubleshoot defects.
• Ensure a Technical design document (TDD) is maintained.
• Collaborate with Admin to deploy code and monitor systems; understand CRM principles.
