Job summary

Cal State East Bay seeks an experienced Lead CRM Software Developer to provide technical leadership for CRM across CSUEB and partner universities. You will guide development, deployment, and optimization of CRM applications, lead a team, and collaborate with stakeholders to maximize CRM value.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant experience, with strong knowledge of software development methodologies, standards, and data integration practices.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in a related field and five years of relevant experience; advanced degree may substitute.
• Expert knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices.
• Expert knowledge and skill in applying standards, guidelines and procedures.
• Expert analytical and organizational skills for large, complex software projects.
• Expert communication and interpersonal skills to explain complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for CRM development across CSUEB and partner universities.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts to deliver complex CRM features.
• Lead the CRM development team in designing, developing, and maintaining CRM applications.
• Oversee production support, incident management, and post-incident remediation.
• Provide guidance on system integration, data migration, and technical enhancements.
• Ensure code reviews, testing, and releases adhere to standards.
