Job Summary

The ideal candidate will be skilled in platform configuration, data integrity, reporting, automation, and stakeholder collaboration—serving as both a technical expert and a strategic partner across the organization.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will be skilled in platform configuration, data integrity, reporting, automation, and stakeholder collaboration—serving as both a technical expert and a strategic partner across the organization.

Essential Functions

  • Administer and manage the Salesforce platform, including user accounts, roles, profiles, permissions, and security settings to ensure proper access and data protection.
  • Lead and support Salesforce implementation and enhancement projects, ensuring alignment with business needs and platform best practices.
  • Develop and deliver user training and documentation, including onboarding programs, self-service guides, and ongoing support to promote system adoption and proficiency.
  • Monitor and maintain data integrity and security, including data imports/exports, duplication, and compliance with data quality standards using tools like Data Loader.
  • Design and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics tools to support data-driven decision-making across teams.
  • Customize and configure Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, and record types to support evolving business processes.
  • Build and manage process automation, including Flows, Workflow Rules, and Process Builder, to streamline business operations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, implement system solutions, and manage ongoing enhancements, including designing scalable, go-forward business processes that drive efficiency and alignment across teams.
  • Perform regular system maintenance, including audits, release management, sandbox testing, and timely application of platform updates and patches.
  • Evaluate, install, and manage third-party applications via the Salesforce AppExchange to extend platform functionality.
  • Stay current with Salesforce releases and features, assessing impact and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Participates in special projects and handles all other assigned duties as required.

Job Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Administrator in a business environment, required.
  • Proven experience with Salesforce configuration, including custom objects, fields, record types and flows, required.
  • 1-3 years of previous 3PL experience, preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration or a related field or equivalent experience, preferred.
  • Proficient in report and dashboard creation and using tools such as Data loader or Data Import Wizard.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable system solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to train and support end users.
  • Ability to travel up to 40% for business needs.

Work Environment / Physical Demands

This job operates in a physical office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands, arms and fingers to handle and lift objects up to 10 pounds.
