Solid Starts is a team of pediatric feeding experts, doctors and dietitians and is the world’s firstcomprehensive platform for starting solids. Solid Starts features a free First Foods database withstep-by-step instructions and how-to videos for introducing real food to babies.

Solid Starts is looking for a CRM & Lifecycle Manager to strategize and execute across email, push notifications, in-app messaging, and more. This contract role is focused on driving subscriber retention, trial conversions, and ongoing engagement with our mobile app through customer communications and retention tactics.

Reporting to our Head of Growth, you’ll work within the marketing team to shape and optimize subscriber journey from app download through renewal.

This is a part-time remote role (approx. 15 hours per week) with potential to increase hours as the business grows. Pay range: $40-$75 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a cross-channel CRM and lifecycle strategy across email, push, and in-app messaging
  • Design campaigns that increase trial conversions, improve retention, and grow lifetime value
  • Audit existing campaigns and recommend improvements to increase engagement and performance
  • Create and manage audience segmentation to enable personalized, relevant communications and offers
  • Ensure best practices for deliverability and send regulations
  • Plan and execute A/B tests on messaging, creative, offers, send timing and frequency
  • Analyze customer data and campaign performance, and share insights and recommendations with the team
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to bring campaigns to life efficiently and on time

What We’re Looking For

  • 3-5 years of experience in CRM, lifecycle marketing, or retention marketing
  • Experience in subscription-based businesses and mobile app experience
  • Hands-on experience with Braze (or similar CRM platforms)
  • Strong analytics skills; comfortable with Excel, Google Analytics, or similar tools
  • Clear, concise communicator – copywriting experience is a plus!
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Experience working in high-growth startup environments is a bonus
