Job summary

The Donor Engagement Intern at BGCMT will support the Resource Development team in donor stewardship, data management, reporting, and administrative tasks. This internship is ideal for someone interested in nonprofit fundraising and donor relations.

The role includes donor acknowledgments, CRM updates, invoicing, and reporting to strengthen relationships with supporters. It offers hands-on experience with Salesforce and nonprofit data management in a hybrid setting.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in college or recent graduate preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable with technology; willingness to learn CRM systems (Salesforce a plus).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data entry, reporting, and basic analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Interest in nonprofit work and donor relations.

Responsibilities

• Data Management: Maintain donor records in Salesforce, merge duplicates, clean inactive accounts, and support donor lists for campaigns and reporting.
• Stewardship & Communication: Help prepare donor thank-you letters and acknowledgment emails.
• Gift Entry, Invoicing & Reporting: Assist with invoicing, record in-kind gifts, and support monthly reporting with Finance.
