Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Cardiac Rhythm Management Clinical Specialist to provide technical, educational, operational, and sales support in the Los Angeles territory. The role requires residence within the area and travel to customer accounts, including weekends and after-hours as needed.

The position emphasizes collaboration with sales and field teams, continuous learning of CRM products, and maintaining clinical expertise to improve patient outcomes. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma plus a minimum 6 years OR Associate’s Degree plus a minimum 4 years OR Bachelor’s Degree plus a minimum 2 years of healthcare, field sales, or related experience.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing, life sciences, or biomedical engineering
• Experience in Cath lab/EP Lab with cardiology knowledge is preferred
• Expertise with Microsoft tools & other applications (SalesForce.com)
• Ability to meet vendor credentialing requirements
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for CRM devices and therapies through system checks, interrogations, implants, troubleshooting, and CRM field training.
• Coordinate operational support by managing patient documentation, inventory, equipment, and programming software.
• Educate physicians and hospital staff on CRM products and solutions and assist onboarding of new staff.
• Collaborate with sales leadership to understand customer needs and market dynamics.
• Identify customer opportunities and support purchase orders; monitor competitive trends and provide feedback.
• Maintain current CRM knowledge to support customers and clinical outcomes.
• Travel extensively within the territory (approx. 80%) to client sites and meetings.
• Perform physical job requirements including lifting up to 40 lbs and long periods of sitting/standing.
• Work in clinical environments with exposure to radiation and lead exposure as needed.
