Indiana Biosciences Research Institute (IBRI) is offering a summer internship focused on project coordination, operations, research administration, and strategy. The intern will help teams stay organized, track progress, and move projects forward, with emphasis on documentation, system improvements, and training support.

The program runs May 17, 2027 – August 6, 2027, with a 35-hour work week and a total stipend of $9,650 paid in bi-weekly installments.

Competenze

Enrolled in or recently graduated from an undergraduate or graduate program in business, information systems, data analytics, operations, life sciences, communications, or a related field.
Interest in CRM systems, business operations, data management, process improvement, or nonprofit management.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially with data and documentation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical colleagues.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Familiarity with CRM, ERP, or other business software, or a willingness to learn quickly.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Commitment to the full duration of the internship.

Mansioni

Create and maintain system documentation, including user guides, process maps, data dictionaries, and quick-reference materials.
Review how teams use business systems, identify gaps or inefficiencies, and recommend and test improvements to fields, reports, dashboards, and workflows.
Support data quality efforts such as cleaning records, flagging duplicates, and tracking adoption metrics.
Help develop training materials and support colleagues as they adopt new tools and processes.
Prepare simple status updates, reports, and dashboards that show how systems are being used.
Support the team with additional system implementation or planning efforts, as needed.
Track project tasks, deadlines, and follow-up items, and keep shared files organized.
