Central Power Systems & Services seeks a Critical Power Technician to service emergency standby generators, transfer switches, and switchgear. Shift is 7AM–4PM with potential overtime and after-hours on-call rotation.

The ideal candidate has experience with generator sets, diesel and gas engines, and electrical distribution, and is eager to grow technical skills within a collaborative team.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduation from a Technical School is preferred.
• AAS Electrical Power Generator Tech is a big plus.
• Military experience is a plus.

Mansioni

• Manage all aspects of critical power systems installation, start-up and commissioning.
• Perform diagnostic and repair procedures on PLCs, AC/DC, and switch gears.
• Perform scheduled maintenance on generators, gas and diesel engines, and transfer switches.
• Coordinate with installing electrical contractors.
• Oversee correction of issues arising from commissioning.
• Familiarity with off-site work and mining company environments.
• Test and troubleshoot various sized generators.
