Job summary

Hanley Energy is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform preventative maintenance and repair of Critical Power Systems at customer sites, including rapid restoration of equipment and on-site communication with client teams.

The role requires familiarity with power electronics, electrical equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting, with a willingness to travel across the IAD area and participate in 24/7 on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with power systems and field service in industrial or switchgear settings.
• Experience in electrical equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of DC power systems is preferred.
• Must hold a full clean driving license and be highly mobile.
• Ability to work in a team and coordinate with site staff.

Responsibilities

• Travel regularly within the IAD area to service client sites.
• Maintain, repair, and install Critical Power Systems including ATS, PLCs, and shunt devices.
