Job summary

Hanley Energy USA is seeking a Data Center Field Technician to support the VP of Engineering. The role involves on-site work at customer data centers, identifying needs, installing and maintaining Energy Management Systems and related equipment, and troubleshooting on-site issues.

Responsibilities include root cause analysis, limited maintenance, safety adherence, data collection, CMMS usage, and coordination with customers to define building requirements.

Qualifications

• Electrical and/or mechanical work experience in relevant settings.
• Experience working in a Data Center or critical environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and organizational abilities.
• Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Root cause analysis of equipment failures.
• Limited maintenance tasks as required.
• Troubleshooting facility and rack-level events within SLA.
• Adherence to safety procedures during work.
• Take operational readings of equipment and document them.
• Use CMMS to manage building workflows and work orders.
• Meet with customers to identify data center needs and gather requirements.
• Perform data entry in Excel and generate work authorizations.
• Maintain power and cooling and ensure clean rooms for critical environments.
