Job summary

Hanley Energy is seeking a Field Technician to travel to customer sites and troubleshoot mechanical equipment in hyperscale data center environments. You will collaborate with team members and stakeholders to meet key objectives and complete thorough technical documentation.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of experience with mechanical systems (heat exchangers, pumps, fans, valves), strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to read electrical schematics and P&IDs.

Qualifications

1–2 years of industry experience with mechanical systems including heat exchangers, air handlers, pumps, fans, valves and controls instrumentation.
Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Experience commissioning HVAC, cooling, or critical infrastructure systems.
Strong documentation and reporting skills.
Ability to work independently as well as in teams.
Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities
