Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring a Critical Operations Technician to join our Facilities Operations team and help maintain the data center infrastructure that runs 24/7.

This on-site role requires hands-on technical experience across electrical, mechanical, HVAC, or IT cabling, with strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work across multiple systems; familiarity with Microsoft Office is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on technical experience.
• Background in electrical, mechanical, HVAC, or IT cabling.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and IT systems
• Monitor equipment performance and record readings
• Install and repair electrical, mechanical, and IT infrastructure
• Support data center build-outs including cabling, racks, cabinets, and hardware installs
• Respond to customer requests and provide on-site technical support
• Process and complete work orders for maintenance and repairs
• Create and manage tickets within the internal tracking system
• Respond to facility alerts, incidents, and emergencies
• Follow safety protocols, including handling hazardous materials
• Utilize change management processes to document maintenance work

We’re hiring a Critical Operations Technician to join our Facilities Operations team. In this role, you’ll help maintain and support the critical infrastructure that keeps our data centers running 24/7.

This is an on-site role supporting a 24x7x365 environment (no remote or hybrid option).

What You’ll Do

• Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and IT systems

• Install and repair electrical, mechanical, and IT infrastructure
• Support data center build-outs including cabling, racks, cabinets, and hardware installs
• Respond to customer requests and provide on-site technical support

• Respond to facility alerts, incidents, and emergency situations
• Follow safety protocols, including handling hazardous materials
• Utilize change management processes to execute and document maintenance work

What You Bring:

• 2+ years of technical, trade, military, or equivalent hands-on experience
• Background in one or more of the following:
• Electrical
• Mechanical
• HVAC
• IT hardware or cabling
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work across multiple systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
