Job summary

JobDiva, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Operations and Maintenance professional to ensure reliability of critical data center systems in a 24/7 environment. You will collaborate with the Sr. Facility Manager to safeguard the critical load and support mission-critical applications.

Responsibilities include executing tasks in the O&M program, managing CMMS, coordinating with vendors, responding to alarms, performing safe equipment modifications, and upholding EHS standards in Sterling, VA.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data centers or operations & maintenance and/or building engineering roles.
• Journeyman level skills in electrical, mechanical, HVAC/R disciplines.
• Familiarity with Work Order Control procedures and CMMS.
• Experience with subcontractor and vendor contract management.
• Experience managing key performance indicators.
• Experience with capacity planning and reporting.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, test equipment, and maintenance shop practices.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to respond to equipment alarms and troubleshoot systems.
• Willingness to adjust hours as required, including extended hours during emergencies.

About the Role

This role is crucial for maintaining the operational integrity of a data center by providing operations and maintenance services 24/7/365. You will work closely with the Sr. Facility Manager to ensure the seamless functioning of building systems, with a focus on preserving the critical load and supporting mission-critical business applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete assigned tasks in the Operations & Maintenance program effectively.
• Understand and adhere to building operations rules.
• Utilize and teach others to use the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Use Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Methods of Procedure (MOPs), and Emergency Operating Procedures (EOPs) for site operations.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for maintenance and project work.
• Respond to building system alarms and participate in root cause analysis.
• Perform equipment and system operational modifications to ensure safety and minimize risk.
• Ensure high standards of workmanship.
• Comply with company, government, and client policies and procedures.
• Be available for emergency corrective maintenance activities.
• Comply with all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) requirements and programs.

Minimum Requirements
