Qualifications

• Electrical or HVAC licensure, certification, or equivalent technical experience (preferred).

What You'll Do in This Impactful Role

• Operate, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot critical infrastructure systems including electrical, mechanical, cooling, and facility support equipment
• Partner with operations teams, facility management, and clients to ensure continuous uptime and reliable facility performance
• Develop, maintain, and improve operating procedures, preventive maintenance programs, and facility protocols
• Analyze and resolve equipment, infrastructure, and operational challenges in a mission-critical environment
• Collaborate cross-functionally with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders to support facility operations
• Coordinate and oversee equipment repairs, maintenance activities, and service provider performance
• Communicate system status, maintenance activities, risks, and recommendations to leadership and client teams
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, reliability, efficiency, and operational excellence
• Ensure compliance with facility standards, safety requirements, and applicable regulations
• Assist with operational planning, staffing support, inventory management, and long-term facility improvement initiatives

What You Need to Succeed

• Demonstrated experience supporting mission-critical facilities, building systems, or technical infrastructure environments
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC systems, mechanical equipment, and preventive maintenance practices
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, high-availability environment
• Experience collaborating across teams, vendors, contractors, and client stakeholders
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Experience

• 3+ years of experience supporting data centers, critical facilities, building maintenance, or mission-critical infrastructure environments
• Experience working within data centers, colocation facilities, industrial operations, healthcare facilities, or similar critical environments
• Electrical or HVAC licensure, certification, or equivalent technical experience
• Experience supporting preventative maintenance programs and facility operations processes
• Leadership, mentoring, scheduling, or team coordination experience
• Experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or similar) to enhance productivity and workflow efficiency

Education

• Technical training, trade certification, or equivalent practical experience in electrical, HVAC, mechanical, facilities, or related disciplines

Preferred:

• Master Electrician License, HVAC License, or other relevant technical certifications
