About the Opportunity
A rapidly expanding operator of mission-critical infrastructure is seeking an experienced Critical Facilities Technician III to support a large-scale hyperscale data center environment. This position plays a key role in maintaining operational reliability, commissioning new infrastructure, and ensuring maximum uptime of critical electrical and mechanical systems.

Day To Day.....
- Operate, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot mission-critical facility systems supporting 24/7 operations.
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on electrical and mechanical infrastructure.
- Support commissioning, startup, testing, and integration of new critical systems and equipment.
- Monitor building performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency, and availability.
- Respond to equipment alarms, abnormal operating conditions, and emergency events.
- Lead fault-finding and root cause analysis efforts on critical infrastructure systems.
- Partner with contractors, vendors, engineering teams, and operations leadership during maintenance activities and infrastructure projects.
- Assist with capacity planning, equipment lifecycle management, and operational readiness initiatives.
- Support compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain operational procedures, maintenance documentation, and work records.
- Provide technical oversight of third-party vendors performing maintenance and service activities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on uptime, operational excellence, and risk reduction.
What Do We Need?
- 6+ years of experience in critical facilities, data centers, power generation, industrial plants, healthcare facilities, or other mission-critical environments.
- Strong knowledge of electrical distribution and mechanical plant operations.
- Experience operating and maintaining generators, UPS systems, switchgear, chillers, cooling systems, and controls platforms.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical one-lines, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation.
- Experience supporting commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities in live environments.
- Strong understanding of lockout/tagout procedures, electrical safety practices, and operational risk management.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations including NFPA, OSHA, NEC, and related codes.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
