  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline.
  • Experience working with suppliers or subcontractors.
  • Ability to facilitate cross‑functional teams and discussions to drive results.
  • Project Management Experience.
  • Ability to obtain a secret clearance.
  • Ability to read and interpret material and industry specifications.
  • Familiarity with material properties, certifications and qualification standards.
  • Working knowledge of FAR and DFARS, including compliance and subcontracting.
  • Experience relating knowledge of minerals and material properties to uses in manufactured products.

You will be the Critical Materials Supply Chain Engineer for the Central Procurement Engineering team. Our team is responsible for improving the supply chain and reducing supply chain risk to program performance across the Missiles and Fire Control Supply Chain.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Critical Materials Supply Chain Engineer you will be responsible for mapping critical material supply chains, assessing supplier capabilities, and developing risk‑mitigation strategies.

Your Responsibilities Will Include, But Are Not Limited To
  • Supply chain mapping and analysis
  • Supplier capability and capacity assessments
  • Development of supplier road‑maps and alternative sources
  • Creation and management of risk‑mitigation plans
  • Rapid response to production disruptions and affordability initiatives

Basic Qualifications

  • Background/Degree in Material Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or similar field, or equivalent experience/combined education
  • Lean/SixSimga Green Belt or Black Belt certified
  • Risk Management Experience
Statement Of Work Or Requirements Writing Experience
  • Research and open source intelligence experience
  • Knowledge of common missile and/or sensor subsystems and supply base
  • Ability to identify emerging suppliers or new sourcing opportunities
Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $129000.00 - $239600.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
