Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Full Time Temp Security Officer for a Financial institution in Pennington, NJ. The role is 2:00PM - 10:00PM, Sundays through Wednesdays, with a starting wage of $19.60 per hour.

You must have a valid NJ driver's license, 3+ years of security experience, and be able to obtain and maintain a guard license. The job focuses on protecting people and property, monitoring systems, and enforcing site rules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 21+ years old.
• Valid NJ Driver's License required.
• 3+ years combined security experience.
• Able to obtain/maintain guard license; carry license on duty.
• Background check and drug/alcohol test required.
• Strong initiative and multi-tasking; good decision making.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Interpersonal skills and professional demeanor.
• One of: 3 years civilian law enforcement; 3 years security; 3 years military.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the facility is provided with high quality security to protect people and property.
• Maintains proficiency with all protective equipment and weapons.
• Report safety concerns and incidents in writing.
• Enforce site regulations and directives for personnel and visitors.
• Monitor CCTV systems and alarms; report issues in writing.
• Maintain familiarity with post orders and site operations manual.
• Meet licensing requirements for Armed Officers and qualifications.
• Build and maintain relationships with client employees and guests.
• Answer questions and assist guests and employees in a professional manner.
• Patrol the facility by foot or vehicle.
• Cover shifts for multiple clients and locations as needed.
