Insight Global is seeking talented and qualified professionals to work a long term contract with one of our largest technology clients in the Richmond, VA area. This person will join the infrastructure integrity team and work between the commissioning and construction teams to stop and/or prevent any maintenance issues after turnover of live data centers from the general contractor. Projects can range from a large scale fiber project, to GPU deployments, to the construction of a car park. We are seeking dynamic individuals to perform program management & administrative duties to ensure the physical structure of the newly constructed data center meets the design specifications of the owner. Candidates will be responsible to ensure Data Centers are built to the correct specs, participate in design calls, site walks & inspections, document any potential installation or construction issues, and track the remediation of issues through correction.
Responsibilities:
Data Center Operations:
Accountable for the ongoing Critical Environment (CE) support for all service lines ensuring the on-time and defect-free delivery of customer capacity within our SLA commitments.
Ensures compliance with data center business units and service-level policies.
Engages with appropriate teams and resources to execute tasks or projects.
Manages programs associated with area of responsibility.
Demonstrates conscientiousness on cost adheres to budget requirements; keeps costs reasonable and contributes to staying within budget.
Follows and adheres to safety and security policies and procedures. Reports immediately any safety or security issues or concerns.
Participates in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) process as appropriate.
Service Delivery:
Oversee the day-to-day operations, delivery, and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment in our Data Centers (MOP/SOP/EOP review, RCAs, FMEAs, change governance, and risk mitigation)
Reduce high-impact and human-error Critical Environment (CE) incidents
Coordinate, plan, schedule, and supervise CE audits and compliance verification
Ensure routine reporting to effectively manage and analyze our Power/Temperature/Relative Humidity, and SLA monitoring
Establish and enhance strong working relationships and engagement with our Engineering Groups, Design Teams, Construction Partners, and Technicians
Compensation: $45/hr to $55/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
