CBRE seeks a Building Engineer to monitor, maintain, and repair MEP systems in a data-center focused environment. The role covers power, cooling, controls, and automation, ensuring 100% uptime and adherence to procedures.

You will perform rounds, troubleshoot equipment, manage vendor activities, and implement SOPs while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance. Flexible scheduling is required for 24/7 operations.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5+ years in critical environment operations for data centers, hospitals, or high-reliability plants.
• EPA Refrigerant certification and electrician/HVAC credentials or equivalent military training.
• Deep proficiency with BMS/EPMS architectures and network topology, hardware/software integration, and electrical schematics.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including nights to support 24/7 operations.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine site rounds and facility tours to inspect MEP systems.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair critical equipment and oversee third-party vendors.
• Monitor and troubleshoot BMS/EPMS; respond to alarms and optimize uptime.
• Review and execute SOPs, MOPs, ESOPs; create MOPs for upgrades and calibrations.
• Ensure safety compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E; monitor site staff and contractors.
• Escalate critical facility issues per corporate incident policies.
• Coordinate with Site Lead and management for incident resolution.
