Job summary

CyrusOne is seeking Critical Environments Operators across experience levels to maintain data center infrastructure and ensure peak reliability. You will monitor electrical, mechanical, and HVAC/R systems around the clock and respond to alarms with a strong safety mindset.

As you gain responsibility, you will execute preventive maintenance, log activities in a CMMS, and coordinate with contractors while upholding safety and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years in data center ops or customer service roles.
• Strong safety mindset and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate data center systems to ensure uptime and reliability.
• Respond to alarms, prioritizing critical load and equipment preservation.
• Execute PMs and follow SOPs/MOPs/EOPs/MMRs as appropriate.
• Use CMMS to track work orders, labor hours and PMs.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors; enforce safety protocols.
• Mentor junior operators and lead critical switching events at senior levels.
